Every post takes one real travel scene and teaches it with the same learning method.

Read the scene, meet the vocabulary, say the sentences out loud, and build your own.

The order is always the same, so what changes is only the destination, never the way you study.

A guidebook tells you where to go, but it does not teach you the words you will need there.

■ How to Study K-Travel
K여행 학습법
Step 1. Skim the vocabulary list at the bottom of the article to catch the key words and phrases.
1단계. 본문 맨 아래 단어장을 먼저 훑어보며 핵심 어구를 익힙니다.
Step 2. Read the title of the article to grasp the topic.
2단계. 본문 제목을 읽고 주제를 파악합니다.
Step 3. Move through each section, starting with the image.
3단계. 소단락을 하나씩 익히되, 이미지부터 파악합니다.
Step 4. Read the English of the section first and grasp the meaning of each sentence.
4단계. 소단락의 영어를 먼저 보고 문장 의미를 파악합니다.
Step 5. Now read the Korean aloud.
5단계. 이제 한국어를 읽어 봅니다.
Step 6. Try answering the FAQ on your own.
6단계. FAQ에 스스로 답해 봅니다.
Step 7. Study the vocabulary list once more at the end.
7단계. 마지막으로 단어장을 다시 공부합니다.

Q1. These are travel posts, so how do they teach me Korean?
A1. 여행은 말이 반드시 필요한 상황의 연속이기 때문입니다. 표를 끊고 길을 묻고 숙소에 들어가는 장면마다 쓰이는 말이 정해져 있습니다. 그 장면 안에서 배운 단어는 실제로 쓰게 되므로 오래 남습니다.
A1. Because travel is a chain of situations where words are unavoidable. Buying a ticket, asking for directions, checking into a room, each scene has its own set of words. Words learned inside a scene get used in real life, so they stay.
Q2. 당장 여행 계획이 없어도 읽을 가치가 있나요?
Q2. Is it worth reading even if I have no trip planned?
A2. 있습니다. 여행 글은 한국의 지역, 교통, 계절, 생활 방식을 한 번에 보여 줍니다. 언젠가 오실 때를 위한 준비이자, 지금 당장은 한국을 아는 배경지식이 됩니다.
A2. Yes. Travel posts show you Korea's regions, transport, seasons, and way of life all at once. They are preparation for the day you come, and background knowledge about Korea right now.
Q3. 실전 회화나 K문화 글과는 무엇이 다른가요?
Q3. How is this different from Real Talk or K-Culture?
A3. 다루는 자리가 다릅니다. 실전 회화는 말하는 법, K문화는 문화의 배경, K여행은 이동하고 머무는 장면을 다룹니다. 학습법은 셋 다 같으므로 어느 쪽을 먼저 보셔도 무방합니다.
A3. The setting is different. Real Talk covers how to speak, K-Culture covers the background of the culture, and K-Travel covers scenes of moving and staying. The study method is identical across all three, so you may start with any of them.
